Bugs on Film

Season

Please note : this season finished in Sept 2017

Calling all mini-beasts! Get your summer holidays started with a crawl into our fun family season celebrating all things miniature, as we get down amongst the undergrowth to explore the world of some of life’s tiniest creations – bugs.

From animated favourites like A Bug’s Life and Bee Movie to 80s classic fantasy adventure Honey I Shrunk The Kids, our packed season of films and events has something for family members, both big and small.

Plus, throughout August at our free book den, families will be able to wing their way over to our relaxed reading space in the Café/Bar, where you’ll find comfy seats, books about bugs in fact and fiction, colouring in and some fantastic (and free!) bug-themed workshops on Friday mornings throughout the month.

So swat away the holiday blues, make a bee-line for Watershed and join us for this swarm of family fun!

  • Checkout out our August podcast in which Roseanna Dias, Watershed's Engagement Project Coordinator discusses all things family and shares some of her highlights of the season.
