BFI Film Academy Bristol 2020

Aged 16 - 19? Love films? Want to see your ideas on the big screen?

Then the BFI Film Academy Bristol is for you...

No matter your background, qualifications or experience, this is your chance to get an insider look at what it’s like to make a film – and then see it on the big screen.

At the BFI Film Academy course at Watershed you will join a small crew of fellow emerging filmmakers to create one of three short documentary films based in Bristol. The ideas for the documentary films come from you. You will meet once a week here at Watershed, and be mentored by a filmmaking professional. You will then help to plan a screening event, and your film will be featured on Rife Magazine’s website.
