Position: Content Creators, Rife magazine (Part time, fixed term for 6 months)
Rate: £12,948 per annum (30 hours a week), 6 month contract (£6,474 for the 6 months before deductions)
Rife is an online platform co-created with young people - giving them a voice and covering the stories that matter to them. We develop young people’s digital skills, confidence, experience and networks so they can thrive. We believe young people’s voices should be part of the media landscape, so it is relevant and representative.
We want two young content creators to come join us for six months in a paid role where you make content for Rife Magazine - personal essays, opinion pieces, interviews, articles, videos and photos that will resonate with young people (the target audience is under 24s). Content Creators will also help to stage events, deliver workshops and represent Rife at festivals, careers fairs and other relevant places. In return, you get mentored by an experienced team of creatives to develop your portfolio and networks.
If you’re 18-24 and want a job making videos, writing articles, taking photos of things you care about, from skating to music to politics to film to comedy, and so on and so on, then this is the job for you. No qualifications necessary just good ideas, enthusiasm and a desire to develop your skills.
