On Dangerous Ground: The Cinema of Bernard Herrmann

This year marks the centenary of film composer Bernard Herrmann's birth in June 1911.

Herrmann changed the way film music was thought of with groundbreaking scores for films like Hitchcock's Psycho and North By Northwest. His career spanned creative collaborations with Orson Welles on Citizen Kane to Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver.

New Grundtvig Workshops for Older Learners

Bristol Filmmakers Win First Light Award

Watershed is delighted that some of our young filmmakers who produced a five-minute docu-drama The Box have been nominated for a First Light Award in the 'Best Film by Over 13s' category. The winning films will be announced on 15 March in a prestigious awards ceremony at The Odeon Leicester Square which some of the young people will attend.
