Andrew Sleigh

Andrew joined Lighthouse in August 2013. His background is in design, web technology, connected communities, and making. At Lighthouse, Andrew leads on the development and production of a selection of our programmes of digital culture and art, including a brand new interdisciplinary studio programme, to be launched in 2014.

Before joining Lighthouse, Andrew was head of strategy at digital agency Worth. He then spent 3 years freelancing as a digital strategy consultant, working in marketing, innovation and customer collaboration. In 2011, he co-founded Brighton Mini Maker Faire, the festival of DIY technology and grassroots innovation. In 2013, he co-founded Hardware Startup, a network for hardware makers and entrepreneurs.

His interest is in the opportunities opened up by ubiquitous access to digital tools, and the power of networked communities to innovate, create and effect change.
