Event dates

Fri 26 Nov 13:00-17:00, Fri 3 Dec 13:00-17:00, Fri 10 Dec 13:00-17:00, Fri 17 Dec 13:00-17:00

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on in the Pervasive Media Studio, then drop in for one of our Open Studio Fridays. From 1pm every week, there is a free weekly talk that we programme with engaging speakers from both the Studio and our wider community. In these, you are free to bring your lunch and enter the conversation – we like to keep things informal and accessible. We do recommend booking in advance as spaces for the talks continue to be limited as part of our COVID protocols, but feel free to take a punt and join us as there always tends to be room.

For the remainder of the afternoon, we are delighted to host you up until 17:00, when you can set up camp on a hotdesk, share a cuppa and tell us what you’re up to, or allow us to help facilitate conversations within the resident community.

Studio staff and residents alike will be around to chat, answer questions or tell you more about what we do.

COVID

We ask that you keep your mask on when moving around the Studio, you are free to take them off when you sit down. If you are able to take a lateral flow test before coming in, that's also appreciated but it's not essential. If you have any access requirements, please email jade.h@watershed.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Accessibility

The PM Studio is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible and gender neutral toilet. There is also a baby change area.

The last talk of every month is BSL interpreted. We have a dedicated quiet room where there is low lighting, sofas, bean bags and space to lie down. This is away from the general open space of the Studio.

We also have some adjustable desks for working at different heights and some stand up desks available as well.

We have a single desktop computer available if you would prefer to watch the talk on that, or use it for anything you are working on. This is allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Your email will only be used to send you monthly studio updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails. For more details, review our privacy policy
