Fire In The Bookshop will be a theatre show for one person at a time, that looks like an installation, that feels like reading a book. It’s the story of 3 outsider kids who discover books in a world where books aren’t supposed to matter any longer.

We want to use interactive technology to heighten the emotional and atmospheric experience of reading fiction, to create a modern interdisciplinary theatre experience, which doesn’t patronise the teenage audience it’s aimed at; where the fun and imagination of a Douglas Adams novel meets the visceral sensory intensity of an Alva Noto gig.

Well that's the theory anyway...
