Shallow Grave meets Fargo in director Sam Raimi's exploration of the corrupting influence of greed. It is very much a companion piece to the Coen Bros’ Fargo which makes sense given how closely Raimi and the Coens collaborated in their early days: Joel edited Evil Dead, they all made Crimewave."
