We're delighted to welcome artist Naho Matsuda as part of Control Shift - a three week programme exploring ways to reframe and rethink our relationships with technology, for this lunchtime talk.

Being in public space has changed, and it has become difficult to sense how a city ‘feels’ and how to connect to the shared sentiment of a place. As part of Bristol based arts programme Control Shift , artist Naho will be projecting collectivised streams of consciousness back onto the city, with her new work This City Is.

Through large-scale projections we see Bristol through a continuous list of updates, ranging from personal opinions to public announcements. Naho will be joined by creative technologist Paul Angus to discuss the work, poetic approaches to data, and the process of developing a shared sentiment of a place.
