POSTPONED: Play Inside - Experiential listening event + Q&A

Live stream

Please note: This event took place in April 2021

We are sorry to announce that this event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be back in touch as soon as a new date has been confirmed.

Listen to the award-winning Play Inside ’Other Mothers’ experiential podcast, a collaboration between Studio resident Rosie Poebright of Splash & Ripple and WeRebel, and then join the discussion with the writers.

Play Inside is a new and powerful way to experience performance, to glimpse into someone else’s world as you listen to a very personal perspective on headphones in your own home, and follow the characters around your own space, mirroring their actions to help gain a different perspective of their story.

'Other Mothers' looks at multiple perspectives on motherhood, informed by the writers personal and community experiences. Witness the worlds of women of colour and a gender non conforming person as they navigate IVF, periods, sick parents and pregnancy.

After you have listened to the piece individually at home at the same time with other audience members or in your own time, join the conversation with the writers: international award-winning poets Kat Francois and Deanna Rodger, and immersive artists Michelle Roche and Rosie Poebright.
