Lunchtime Talks

Talk

Please note: This event took place in July 2016

Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.

In this Lunchtime Talk BBC R&D brings you a lunchtime of stories about storytelling in the new, the now.

How long have you got? That’s how long it will last... But what if you haven’t got that long? Then it will be shorter... But who decides? You do... When? In the moment. What might our interaction with media be like in the future? How will the crafting of media experiences help us live our lives?

BBC R&D’s Connected Studios and UX lab will bring their tales, technology and challenges to the Studio to share their work and ambitions. Some explorations can be seen here: bbc.co.uk/taster

The Pervasive Media Studio is located within the Watershed building. Let us know if you'd like a tour and we'll be happy to show you around. Send an email to admin@pmstudio.co.uk
