Make A Finger Puppet

Roald Dahl on Film

Workshop

Please note: This event took place in Aug 2016

Drop in between 10:00 - 12:00 in the Café/Bar

"There seemed to be jolly little that had not been written about, except maybe things like earthworms and centipedes and spiders" - Roald Dahl

Come and make your very own insect finger puppet inspired by the bugs in Roald Dahl's James and The Giant Peach. Will you make Old Green Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybird, Silkworm or Miss Spider, or will you create an insect character of your own? Take your puppets home with you to create mini-beast stories of your own!

This FREE workshop (on Fri 5 Aug from 10:00 to 12:00) is best suited for ages 6-12 and their families, but human beans of all ages are welcome to attend. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Scuttle over to the cinema straight after this workshop on Fri 5 Aug and see the adventures of James and The Giant Peach in glorious animation on the big screen. The film also screens on Sat 6 and Sun 7 Aug.
