Ten Things We Learned Making a 360 Drama
Lunchtime Talks
Please note: This event took place in Nov 2016
Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.
Earlier this year, digital innovation company and Studio residents Chromatrope along with director Glen Travis created a 360 live action drama called Echo Chamber. The film captures two people’s experience of dementia, you can watch it now on YouTube.
During this Lunchtime Talk, James and Sally Richards from Chromatrope and Glen Travis of ‘Rock of Eye’ will join us to share ten things they learned along the way. Although they don’t think they have all the answers, they will share the successes and challenges of making a live action 360 drama.
The Pervasive Media Studio is located within the Watershed building. Let us know if you'd like a tour and we'll be happy to show you around. Send an email to studio@watershed.co.uk
