Deaf Conversations About Cinema: Mindhorn

Event

Please note: This event took place in May 2017

The Mighty Boosh's Julian Barratt and co-writer Simon Farnaby's joyously off-the-wall creation Mindhorn sees a washed up actor reprising his 80s TV role (as a sleuth with a robotic truth-telling eye, naturally) to catch a deranged killer.

The 17:50 screening on Mon 22 May will include Descriptive Subtitles and feature an introduction by writer and comedian Ellen Waddell and a post-show discussion with Ellen and other audience members - which will also feature simultaneous BSL (British Sign Language) interpretation.

From 19:20 please join us for Deaf Conversations About Cinema, an informal discussion about the themes of the film in the Café/Bar (Deaf and hearing audience members are both most welcome). You’ll receive 10% off drinks with your cinema ticket – so grab a glass and let us know your thoughts about Mindhorn!
