Whose A.I Is It Anyway?
Lunchtime Talks
Please note: This event took place in Oct 2017
Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.
In this week's Lunchtime Talk, in partnership with our friends at BBC Academy, and as a preview to the upcoming Digital Bristol Week, we are delighted to welcome some of Bristol’s leading Artifical Intelligence innovators and educators to have a conversation with one another and with our audience about the accelerated pace of A.I development.
We hope to explore the kinds of effects A.I will have on education and creative jobs, the skills we might need to work with it, and how it can be made more accessible to all.
The Pervasive Media Studio is located within the Watershed building. Let us know if you'd like a tour and we'll be happy to show you around. Send an email to studio@watershed.co.uk
