No Bindings: a new approach to publishing
Lunchtime Talks
Please note: This event took place in June 2018
Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.
In this Lunchtime Talk Pervasive Media Studio resident Lily Green joins us this week to talk about the inspiration behind her ever-evolving social publishing project, No Bindings.
No Bindings is re-inventing social publishing with hybrid books, combining sound recordings, art, text and most importantly putting people at the forefront of everything it does. Join us to hear, Lily Green, No Bindings founder, discuss pivotal projects, such as the recent, 'Here we grow', a colloboration, Bristol Ageing Better (BAB), lessons learnt and what the future holds for this ever-evolving social publishing project.
The Pervasive Media Studio is located within the Watershed building. Let us know if you'd like a tour and we'll be happy to show you around. Send an email to studio@watershed.co.uk.
