Are You A Creative Entrepreneur?
Lunchtime Talks
Please note: This event took place in Dec 2018
Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.
The world of work is changing - rapidly. Brexit is on everyone's lips and job security seems like a distant memory. Amid these challenges, entrepreneurship is on the rise. Increasingly, people are seeking out ways to turn their ideas, skills or passions into a viable enterprise. Creative entrepreneurship is one option. But what is it? And how do you know if you are one? Joy Francis, executive director of Words of Colour Productions and co-founder of Digital Women UK, will offer you some tips and guidance to help you determine if this is the route for you.
This Lunchtime Talk is part of Open Studio Friday, which takes place at the Studio every week.
