Neal Stephenson: Some Remarks

Neal Stephenson is an American writer who has written a number of best selling science fiction novels. His work draws from a diverse selection of intellectual disciplines and subjects, blending technology, science, history, philosophy and pop culture. In addition to his fictional works, Stephenson also contributes non-fiction articles to a number of publications, including Wired and The New York Times.

This event marked the publication of Some Remarks, a collection of Stephenson’s short writing collecting both fiction and non fiction and covering a wealth of subjects from movies, politics, science fiction, video games, the future of publishing, and the origins of his novels.

In this video, Neal Stephenson discusses the book, life, and work, and talks about the subjects that have interested him and inspired him to write.
