This masterclass will explore some of creative techniques and skills involved in directing animation and puppetry on film and an opportunity to experience first hand the directing process with a master of the art of puppetry - Barry Purves.

Barry is an OSCAR® and BAFTA nominated Animator and Director, passionate about the art of film-making. As well as his film work, he directs and designs for theatre and writes about, teaches and promotes the art of animation. His work is acclaimed internationally and has won many awards.

This workshop is suitable for recent graduates and animators who are passionate about animation and filmmaking.
