The Link – A Networking Event For U24s

The Link – A Networking Event For Under 24s

Event

Please note: This event took place in Feb 2016

On Wed 24 Feb in the Café/Bar the team at Rife Magazine, our online platform written for young people by young people, are hosting The Link – an informal networking event for young creative people looking to widen their network.

Bristol is full of lots of creative young people who are pioneers of their chosen industries, but it’s often difficult for them to find one another. There’s a spoken word performance on every night, exhibitions opening all the time, and magazines popping up everywhere – and loads of these are being run by young people.

Networking can be difficult, awkward and stressful but it’s a vital part of the creative industry in making those connections with others. The Link is an informal space for you to widen your creative network of fellow talent – from the ones just starting out, to those at the top of their game and everyone in between.

Are you looking for writers or a photographer for your magazine or website? Perhaps you are fashion designer or a filmmaker looking for support to get your next project off the ground? Or maybe you are an illustrator or a dab hand at web design? Whether you're trying to promote your project, seek collaborations or just wanting to share ideas join us on Wed 24 Feb from 18:00 - 20:00 in the Café/Bar to meet other young creative people aged between 16 and 24.

If you’d like to come along, let us know by e-mailing Antonia on antonia@rifemagazine.co.uk and if you’re working on a project and looking for a particular collaborator, let us know and we’ll try to match you up before you arrive.
