An intense and moving documentary, Streetdance Family tells the captivating story of Entity, the UK’s most successful and controversial under-16 street dance crew and their epic journey to the Hip Hop world championship.

This compelling tale uncovers the real world of streetdance and reveals just how much hard work and dedication are needed in the world of competitive dance. As they battle against all odds, the young dancers and their families are forced to face their personal demons and lay everything on the line in their bid for glory on the world stage. Far from the glamour of TV talent this is a genuine portrait of a grassroots movement. There isn’t a town in the UK that doesn’t have at least one streetdance crew who perform purely for the joy of dancing. For them it’s a way of life.

Streetdance Family gives a unique, heartfelt insight into the lives of the dancers as they give it their all. Full of passion, energy, drive and of course, some truly amazing dancing!

On Sat 4 June the two directors - Debbie Shuter and Adam Tysoe - will join us for a special Directors' Q&A after the screening, so you can ask them your own burning questions.
