Oh yes! igfest is back for its third year running! With more games and exciting new collaborators than ever before, the street gaming event of the year is just around the corner.
The date has been set and the headline games have been chosen. On the 17 and 18 September, Bristol will host a whole array of Pervasive Street Gaming antics. Join the revolution in reclaiming the city's public spaces for two days and nights of games, outdoor spectacles and mass social interaction, play and adventure.
Tickets for the massive zombie chase game 2.8 Hours Later are on sale now, so prepare yourself for a night of terror! The screams are deafening but you can still hear the dragging of feet: Run for your life as the un-dead rise from the earth. Other outdoor capers include The Madness of Yore, a folk games of our pagan past and The Running of the Bulls, for which costumed beasts are let loose in the city. Cyclefest are also getting on board with their exciting blend of pedal-powered tom-foolery.
igfest 3 will be another international celebration of Street, Pervasive and Social games. Programmed again this year by SlingShot (formerly Simon Games) you can be sure it will be as intense as ever.
