This past weekend the Studio played host to the Bristol arm of the Global Games Jam, which saw fifty-two people grouped into teams and challenged to create games in the space of 48 hours.

The participants were provided the theme of "ouroboros" to interpret through their games and, after an evening of socializing and discussing ideas on Friday, got stuck into the process of developing on Saturday morning, working zealously through to Sunday evening to produce ten brand new games that can be found online at: http://bit.ly/wznHyR.

The event also saw participants tackling an additional Accessibility Challenge: to make games that are more usable for players with disabilities. The Bristol winner of this contest was Super Space Snake (in Space), which has been put forward to the main competition.
