Young Luke travels with his eccentric grandmother for a holiday by the Cornish seaside. In their posh hotel Luke discovers that a coven of witches are holding their annual convention and that the Grand High Witch (a scene-stealing Anjelica Huston) has decreed that all children in England are to be turned into mice.
