A first feature of fragile beauty from Bristol-based BAFTA-winner Esther May Campbell, this lush British drama centres on three children and their distracted father. All are hobbled by their own neurosis and longing, yet we discover that things haven't always been this way and that the children's mother (singer/songwriter Beth Orton) has recently entered a care facility.

When one of the children - youngest Rose (Zamira Fuller) - takes destiny into her own hands, she sets off alone deep into forgotten edge lands to reach her mother. It's her odyssey that provokes her disconnected siblings and parents to come and face their challenges together.
