Bee Hotel Making Workshop

Workshop

Please note: This event took place in Sept 2017

Come and have some fun, whilst creating a miniature, hand-made bee hotel to provide habitat for solitary bees in your garden, allotment, park, window or wall of your home! Our native bees need your help!

In this free, practical workshop in our Café/Bar, Heather and Tim from Bee The Change project will show you how to assemble a small, colourful bee hotel using household and natural materials, to encourage and protect native pollinators. You’ll make your own Solitary Bee hotel to take home, and at the same time learn a thing or two about bees!

Entry to the workshop is free. Drop in anytime between 10:00-12:00. All materials provided. Most suitable for ages 6 - 11 years but everyone is welcome!

Bee the Change is a Bristol and Stroud based not-for-profit and community interest company, tackling the pollination crisis by connecting communities to nature through bee conservation, with the aim to bring a political, social and environmental consciousness into honeybee stewardship and wildlife conservation.
