Please note: This exhibition took place in Sept 2017
Exhibition and Artist’s Introduction
What will we eat in the future? How might food and farming change as populations increase and climate change alters our landscapes? Join us to explore these questions and more, at a special viewing of artist David Lisser’s exhibition, The CleanMeat Revolution: future artefacts which showcases work created during David’s recent residency at the Pervasive Media Studio and We The Curious.
Half playful, half deadly serious, The CleanMeat Revolution is an imagined retrospective of meat production in the mid 21st century. Bringing together ‘discovered’ artefacts and other fascinating future objects, it offers a playfully provocative vision of our culinary future.
Drinks will be served and there will be introductions from artist David Lisser, Victoria Tillotson, Producer, Watershed and Rosalie White, Creative Producer, We The Curious.
Venue: The Box Gallery, at We The Curious.
Find out more about David and his work. If you are unable to make the event but would like to see the exhibition, it is open from Thu 14 Sept until Sun 8 Oct 2017 and We The Curious offer a late entry ticket (Adult £5.25) which permits entry within an hour and a half of closing which is a good way to see it. However if you would like to make a day of it, the show is also included within the We The Curious all day ticket price (Adult £15.30).
