Projects 2010 > Operation Sonic Boom > Journal
Throughout our development process, we've tackled problems with physics, intuition and computer hardware, we've laughed with glee as we bounce around the office making background noise and we've been filled with a sense of achievement as we convert another soul to the world of vocal gaming. What a ride!
Our framework has gone from concept to reality in a matter of months, allowing us to craft a multitude of fun game mechanics to test on the unsuspecting public. The results of these tests (not to mention the hoards of background research) have been very useful in determining a direction for the framework, and we stride forward on this journey with an almost erotic vigour.
Operation: Sonic Boom, whilst successful in accomplishing the beginnings of what we set out to do, is still growing. Buds have begun appearing along its flower stalk, and passersby pause for a moment to examine the peculiar and unique stem that rises from the ground. As soon as a sound escapes their lips, Operation: Sonic Boom turns into quite a different animal, a flamingo of sound activated excitement. With a beat of it's wings it captivates hearts and minds and subtly converts the user to the new method of "shouty gaming".
