Bristol Harbour: An Interactive Experience

Take an interactive stroll around Bristol Docks and become part of a story set in 1885. Starting at Watershed step back in time with a handset and headphones and choose one of two stories to follow.

Through a mixture of audio and video, the stories unfold around the docks – from Watershed, past the Arnolfini, over Prince Street bridge, to the SS Great Britain, crossing by the ferry, and back to Watershed. The whole experience lasts up to 90 minutes.

Get a sense of what the docks were like in 1885, through the character you choose, and through people you ‘meet’ along the way, your decisions will affect the outcome of the story.

Handsets are available from Watershed’s top foyer between 1100 and 1700hrs from Wed 1 - Sun 26 April. Taking part in the trail is free of charge but you need to leave a deposit for the handsets. Bookings/enquiries: 07751 750517.
