About Jon Aitken

With a background in Fine Art, Jon has spent the last year since graduating doing a variety of things including exploring - in depth - the exciting world of retail, followed by the actually exciting world of online media. Currently one of the journalists working at rifemagazine.co.uk he is fascinated by social media, prone to live tweeting any event he comes across (see his somewhat bitter account of the water slide on Park Street) as well as producing and promoting content about a variety of of issues including the highly successful #JustHuman campaign (turns out being LGBTQ+ doesn't make you any different to being straight - who'd have thought!?). Other skills include: face painting, running and Beyoncé, all of which he has managed to tenuously shape into his YouTube channel 'jonbehere'.
