Watershed Accessible Programme

Watershed offers both Audio Description and Descriptive Subtitling on selected titles and selected screenings in Cinema 1 only.

Audio Description

Audio Description is a service for partially sighted or blind people where users listen (through a set of headphones) to a specially recorded narrator detailing what’s happening on the screen at selected breaks in the film’s dialogue.

 

Descriptive Subtitling

Descriptive Subtitling is a service for the hearing-impaired or deaf who rely on subtitling to enable them to ‘hear’ the film’s dialogue.
