Iglympics June 2009
As part of Watershed’s Let the Games Begin season, iglab (the Interesting Games Lab) celebrated a mini Olympics of street and pervasive games, interesting sports and mucking about in Bristol’s Harbourside.
As part of Watershed’s Let the Games Begin season, iglab (the Interesting Games Lab) celebrated a mini Olympics of street and pervasive games, interesting sports and mucking about in Bristol’s Harbourside.
Among the games were Korean Lazer Ball (a sci-fi game in which players shine, bounce and dodge their way to the top of the league), Circle Rules Football (winner of the best new sport at this year's Come out and Play festival in NYC), English Judo (a game of competitive etiquette) and Telephone Tennis (here players have to get ready to serve at the speed of a ring tone).
