We would like to invite you to join us for the final event in this year's Theatre Sandbox programme.

In 2009, we launched Theatre Sandbox, a brand new commissioning scheme which gave awards to six theatre companies to research and develop projects using digital technologies. Bringing together people who have already dabbled with digital technology and those who are completely new to it – the scheme was designed as an opportunity to experiment, explore and take risks within a supported space.

From a revolutionary new approach to captioning theatre for deaf audiences to a digital map of the future which grows in your hands, the research undertaken across the six projects is ambitious, inventive and often challenging, with extraordinary results being revealed already. You can read more about the ideas at http://www.theatresandbox.co.uk/2010-commissions.
