After three years in development, Studio resident Luke Jerram's Aeolus, a metal structure that investigates acoustics, wind, architecture and light, is now installed at Lyme Park, the first of its touring destinations.

The acoustic and optical pavillion was inspired by Luke's research trip to Iran in 2007 where he explored the mosques of Isfahan and interviewed a Qanat desert well digger about his life. The digger spoke of the wells singing in the wind which led Jerram to investigate the acoustics of architecture and create this new work.

The sculpture will move to MediaCityUK on the 27th August, and will then be installed at The Eden Project from the 16th September. Don't miss it!
