It's been a busy week for the React team as they've been working on  existing projects and lanching Books & Print Sandbox. On Monday they travelled to Exeter for the first Books & Print Ideas Lab. The Lab was a chance to explore the theme for the latest Sandbox funding call and help share ideas and start building collaborative partners between academics and Creative economy partners. You can read a writeup by Simon and find details of how to attend upcoming Ideas labs here.

On Wednesday Calvium went over to Bristol Old Vic to assist with the indoor positioning testing for the Memory of Theatre heritage

Sandbox project. The project explores the relationship between archives and memories and the way events live on through stories told by audience members. Calvium’s Ben Clayton is now the father of a baby girl, so he’ll be out of the studio for a couple of weeks spending some quality time at home.

Saturday saw the public testing day of 'We all know that death is the future’ one of the Hertidge Sandbox projects at the Arnos Vale Cemetery. The event wove the Victorian past and digital present together to bring to life the heritage scattered within the grounds.
