Victoria (she/her) is Watershed's Talent Development Lead, supporting artists and producers to access new ways of working, build strong collaborative networks and a sense of community.T Magazine have commissioned Olivier Ratsi a member of the AntiVJ Collective, to create a new work entitled "retouched" for the cover of their latest issue. AntiVJ founding members Joanie and Nico are currently resident in the Studio.
Ratsi aka Emovie explores the relation between fixed and animated images through a form of expression turned towards decomposing/recombining time and space. The aim is to generate a break with the meaning of the original items, to propose a new angle of observation and to explore the figure of the affects in motion.
Ratsi has participated and appeared in festivals and places dedicated to digital culture in France and Europe including Festival Optronica, Mapping, Nemo, Exit, Videofestival, the Cube and Centre George Pompidou. To find out more, view Ratsi's flickr stream, showreel or website.
