Architects of extraordinary adventures seek a Producer / Project Manager to help us develop storytelling to enhance human connection.

We’re working on a project with University of West England exploring how to deliver an empathy-driven storytelling experience about migration. The project is particularly interested in how locative mobile media can inspire empathy in human social relations.

We need a Producer / Project Manager to oversee the recruitment and management of the Creative team, manage budgets and resources, and oversee the development process for the creative and digital content. You will be working alongside a Digital Producer, who will project manage the design, testing and delivery of a storytelling app. Product launch is in July.

WE: love inventing new ways to make the world a bit more exciting. We design and build adventures using a combination of theatre, games and digital tech to explode the normal everyday. We do this both commercially to tell the stories of clients like museums and castles, and for the love of it – putting audiences at the centre of the action to push the boundaries of theatre, storytelling and entertainment. Check out some of our lovely adventures: www.splashandripple.com

YOU: Understand the importance of immersive experiences as a way of connecting people to a story. Are a stickler for detail who’s excited by a new challenge. Have demonstrable experience of producing and project / people management, delivering high quality outputs within time and budget constraints. Experience supporting the creation of something novel. Are comfortable with the unknown – we’re often working in ways or creating outputs for which there’s no template.

SEND US: Your CV and a short covering email, or whatever best demonstrates the following:

• recruitment and management of a team

• budget and resource management

• experience of or an understanding of working with digital technology in the delivery of theatrical or similar experiences

FEE: commensurate with experience

APPOINTMENT PERIOD: February 2018 to July 2018 (part-time, ideally based in Bristol)

DEADLINE: 29th January 2018
