Week commencing 23rd April

Drip, Drip, Drop, little April showers, not so much of the little from where we are sitting!

So what have we all been up to in the shelter of the studio:

We have some lovely new residents Lumiere Digitale and they say they are SO HAPPY to be here. Lumiere Digitale is a Bristol based company, which deals specifically with the use of digital and visual art forms within contemporary circus, dance and physical theatre.

Tangible FX have a new video out and they are designing and developing their Beta Moov, which will be the productised version of their iMoov app and an improvement on their Alpha Moov, whereby musicians control musical effects by simply using your body or instrument movement. TangibleFX have turned over their first revenue this and also been blogged for their iMoov app.

More strange sightings on the Mercurial Wrestler  front what a strange and mysterious bunch they are, tickets for their up coming show Magna Mysteria can be bought here.

Victoria Tillotson has VERY exciting news, TWO residencies are now open for submissions this is a fantastic opportunity to explore process and practice within a collaborative environment.

Jon Dovey is just back from Leunberg in Germany, where he has been spreading the Pervasive Media love by talking about methods of working, how we work at the studio and how ecosystems are a good way to talk about producing innovation rather than incubation!

Clare has been very busy, this week, hosting a meeting with Arts Council England's Area Digital Group and a visit led by Graham Hitchin for a group of policy makers, thinkers and funders around creative economy. Both groups were treated to a tour of the studio and some time with residents.
