This next version fits into a smaller box – because I have mounted the Pi on the outside, which gives all the USB cables more room to breathe by connected on the outside of the box… it does look nicer – although there is still room for improvement !
Now there are manual controls for reverb, delay, sample length - along with the already existing record, preset and mode controls… quite a lot of drilling, jigsawing and soldering - so I had my work cut out - and set about making up 4 boxes to try out together...
The mic is now mounted on a headband - with some lightweight bendy aluminium... this is temporary! - I am thinking about using headphones (maybe also for audio cues) - so these would make better mounts for the mic - but at least this version is more usable to experiment with
