Projection Experts and Studio Residents AntiVJ are featured in TANGIBLE, a new book by Gestalten.TANGIBLE – the latest publishing project by Gestalten - documents how designers and artists are using the stylistic means of graphic design to implement their ideas spatially to create three-dimensional designs, objects and orchestrated spaces.
AntiVJ are featured with two pieces; LIGHT SCULPTURE V2 (2008) was designed by artists Yannick Jacquet, Joanie Lemercier, Olivier Ratsi and Romain Tardy during a residency at the Paysages Electroniques in Lille, France. The composition, made of white cubes and columns, became a canvas for a live visual & audio performance. LIGHT SCULPTURE (2007), a light design/ video mapping/ projection installation was created by Joanier Lemercier for Visomat's Halbzeug sculpture at Club Transmediale, Berlin.
iShed are currently working with AntiVJ on a project entitled 'Projecting Holograms', where they will be exploring how to merge existing tools used for stereoscopy, motion/object tracking and real-time 3D.
