Sleight of Hand are seeking 3 actors (any gender) aged 25-55 for an R&D process and performance supported by MyWorld and in collaboration with Condense (Bristol), for their virtual venue The Blueprint.
You will need to be comfortable working with motion capture (though prior experience with MoCap is not a requirement) and have an open/flexible attitude towards creating brand new work with new technology. Multi-roling ability is a plus.
The piece is a Lovecraftian Neo-Noir horror/thriller set in a virtual environment where audience join as avatars, becoming part of a “crew” on board a submarine. Things start to intensify as the crew experience some strange goings on aboard the vessel...
A workshop day will take place on 30th January (TBC), a half-day rehearsal during the week commencing 12th February, and the final rehearsal day and performance day on 23rd+24th February 2024. All work will take place in Bristol.
Fees are £200 per day inc. VAT (this is to include any travel expenses).
