Where can you stop? Would you stay there overnight? Would you feel safe or welcome…? Is there anyone out there who can help you?

Simon Games and Soho Theatre invite you to play Drom, an interactive game on the streets of London, which has started on Wed 4 Nov and will continue until Sat 21 Nov. Two travellers in a caravan will be journeying through London’s streets in search of stopping places. Players are invited to trace this journey and help the travellers find places to park their caravan. Drom is taking place during the three-week run of Shraddha, a new play at the Soho Theatre, inspired by the 2007 eviction of generations of travellers and Romanies in Hackney.

To take part in the game, players can text ‘FOLLOW THE DROM’ to 60300 to discover the caravan’s location and submit a stopping place by SMS, email or Twitter. Players can convince the travellers that the stopping place is safe and suitable by sending in photos and any additional information. Each location will be entered into an interactive map, which will include video blogs from the travellers documenting their London journey.  The winning player is the one who finds a stopping place where the travellers can stay for the night that is closest to the Soho Theatre.
