We are delighted to share this new project film by Benjie Croce and Dom Gaskell.

In summer 2015, we were joined by creative coder, technologist, sound artist and electronic musician Ashley James Brown as Studio Artist in Residence. Taking up residence in Watershed's creative technology research and development space, the Pervasive Media Studio, he sought to explore and expand his own solo creative practice. During his time with us he developed a family of wearable noise synths, ‘Noise, Noise Robot’ (NNR), and ‘Sounds of the Sea’ a calm-technology, sonic seashell which, when held to the ear allows you to hear a piece of specially composed music inspired by the seashores of Ashley’s childhood.
