Freddie Wulf is an artist working in body-based performance, sound & video. He’s white, trans masculine & neurodivergent.

"I make work that is visceral & theatrical. I work with texture, vibration, speed/slowness, & culturally recognisable images - to create layers of meaning. I love slowing things down, speeding them up or zooming in to see what is revealed.

I am interested in the physicality of sound; creating feelings & atmospheres for an audience; the body as a site of change; images which bloom & transform; & the potential of (consensual, negotiated) touch in performance. My work is sex positive & draws from kink methodologies."

In this residency Freddie is bringing his practice to a new field - exploring new ways to use technology to enhance touch. Freddie will be supported with focused time with our Creative Technologist and introductions to members of our Studio Community.
