Eldarin Jing J. Yeong
Theatremaker and cross-disciplinary artist

Eldarin is a theatremaker and cross-disciplinary artist. Former theatre journalist for the UK-Chinese Times newspaper. An alumna @ Imperial College London, University of Bristol, and RADA.
She is the winner of the 3rd prize International Award "Lorenzo il Magnifico" (2019) at Florence Biennale, and a member of the Society of Scottish Artists.
She is heavily influenced by Symbolism, Theatre of Absurd and German Expressionism, and often takes a stand on social justice issues. Her group 2617KUNST (previously Eldarin Yeong Studio) has been making and producing theatre and cross-disciplinary works since 2013. Past projects have been presented in the UK, Germany, Italy, Greece, South Korea, and the US at prestigious venues and exhibitions such as Wells Art Contemporary, World Stage Design, Galleri Heike Arndt DK and Inselgalerie Berlin, Royal Scottish Academy, Tate Modern and Sadler's Wells Theatre.
