BikeTAG
Bike Tag is a system of led lights, proximity sensors and a Smartphone application. Originally created during The Playable City Sprint by artists Jayoung Bang, Yunjun Lee, Tine Bech and Julian Sykes, it’s “an urban platform that gives cyclists a voice in their city.”Dr. Tine Bech is a Danish artist with a Master's in Sculpture and a Ph.D. in Interactive Art and Play Theory. Born in Aarhus, Denmark, she now lives in London and works worldwide.
Her studio is an international multi‑disciplinary art studio, specialising in public art, light installations, immersive art, and playful spatial interventions. Our philosophy is that the public realm should engage and connect people in positive ways.
Our work is rooted in Tine's PhD academic research into the value of play in society, a constant source of inspiration, which has fed into remarkable, interactive installations worldwide.
