Savinder is an artist and inventor of sorts. Her practice is driven by her fascination with the illusory qualities inherent in cinema and early animation.
Savinder Bual studied painting at Winchester School of Art and photography at the Royal College of Art, London. Since then her work has exhibited widely, including Bloomberg New Contemporaries; Turner Contemporary; CCA, Wimbledon Space, Focal Point Gallery, The Crafts Council, Animate Projects and Peer Gallery.
Her work has been featured in publications such as It’s Nice That and Vision Magazine, China. She is currently working on a series of work funded by the Arts Council that will be performed at Colston hall this winter.
