Pervasive Media Studio resident and artist Sylvia Rimat and artist and gardener Charli Clark will be talking about their free wildflower installation and audio experience Broad Meadow.
The work reconnects to Bristol prior to the 14th century, when Broadmead was a wet meadow, regularly flooded by the river Frome. The wildflower installation’s growing conditions and plant species have been carefully chosen to mimic the meadow that once existed there.
The installation takes place in Broadmead from Fri 24 May until Thu 20 June as part of Mayfest 2024 and features as part of Festival of Nature.
