The What's Happening in Black British History? Workshop series is coming to Bristol!

#WHBBH4 is a whole day (10:00 - 18:00) talking about Black British history organised by the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, University of London, in partnership with the University of the West of England. Aimed at researchers, educationalists, artists, writer, archivists, curators and policy makers, there will be sessions on engaging with archives (from the personal to the political, resistance and healing), women in Black British history (artists, abolitionists and Black Power activists) and local Black British histories (exploring the local histories of the South West, from Bristol and Bath, to Devon, Dorset and South Wales).
