Narrative/NonNarrative/AntiNarrative Conference  @ The Watershed, Bristol

An Event supported by iShed and featuring Studio Residents Duncan Speakman and Hazel Grian.

Building on the success of the 2006 conference – which brought together academia and industry, theorists and practitioners – this conference is timed to follow on from the end of the Encounters Film Festival 2008 and aims to further the debate on the role of narrative in new and conventional media.

Hugh Hancock, author Machinima for Dummies and director, Bloodspell
Hazel Grian, film-maker, including web-based drama.

On Sunday evening, we also have a preview screening of Duane Hopkins' Better Things and an interview with Samm Haillay, Producer.

The event is supported by the University of the West of England, the BBC, Hewlett-Packard, iShed and the Encounters Film Festival.
